Alumni Association Staff Changes

The Alumni Association is delighted to announce a new addition to the staff. Ashley Williams has been hired to fill the position of Administrative Associate and Social Media Manager, as Kristian Balgobin takes on his new role as Executive Director.

Ashley is a 2014 graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Prior to joining the Alumni Association, Ashley worked as a patient educator and medical biller in Queens, NY and she is currently a student at Pace University where she will receive her Master of Science in Publishing in December 2019.

We are excited to have Ashley join this team and we look forward to seeing where she will take this role. Ashley joins Finance Associate Renee Dume and the newly appointed Executive Director Kristian Balgobin, as your Alumni Association staff. The goals of the staff and organization as a whole include increasing alumni engagement, boosting donations and continued support to the medical students. This support comes in the form of scholarships, research support, conference travel support, students activities and events, and providing for other student needs.
