Bernard Feldman, MD’ 59 is no longer with the University of Nevada School of Medicine although he retains the title “Professor Emeritus, Pediatrics” from the school. Currently, he sits as a board member of the Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida, a Federally Qualified Health Clinic (https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=www.healthcareswfl.org&data=02%7C01%7Calumni%40downstate.edu%7Cc4d63321f3dc46cae09408d6fc0f8def%7C22670793760f482993153e427c362e69%7C0%7C1%7C636973541071774042&sdata=diAK6zCEHtTipBsd9L7D%2F4uDl1v8kbXwIY49rnVjOE0%3D&reserved=0) caring for approximately 60,000 under-insured and under-served patients in Collier County, Florida. Along with his wife, Elaine, and he resides in a Continuing Care Retirement Community called the Terraces at Bonita Springs.

Gerald Hassan, MD’ 56 Gerald (Jerry) Hassan M.D. class 1956 passed away on December 28, 2018. Dr. Hassan practiced radiology and neuroradiology in Los Angeles CA. He is survived by his wife and classmate Erika Hassan. Children: Vivian (Mike) Hassan- Lambert, Gina (David) Hassan Wallin and Paul Hassan and grandchildren: Caitlin, Anya, and Gabriel
