DHWS & LMSA Virtual Mixer Recap

On Thursday July 16, 2020 the Alumni Association’s Diversity Committee hosted its inaugural DHWS & LMSA Virtual Mixer. Alumni from classes ranging from 1975 to 2005 gathered via Zoom. Conversations spanned topics of meaningful action in the current climate, increasing engagement and ways to best support current medical students. Additionally alumni reminisced on their days in the Daniel Hale Williams Society and the Latino Medical Student Association and the impact those interactions had on their medical journey.
