Faculty & Alumni Mentoring Program 2019

The 2019-2020 Faculty/Alumni Mentoring program sponsored by the Dean’s Office & Alumni Association – College of Medicine began earlier this month. The goal of this alumni supported program is to provide a supportive environment for first-year students and to enhance relationships among faculty (some of which are Downstate graduates) and students.

Before the program begins Alumni Association Executive Director, Kristian Balgobin, informs the students of the many ways in which the association can be a resource as they begin their medical school journey. Check out a few photos from the very first mentoring session of the academic year below!
