April 30th: A multidisciplinary team at SUNY Downstate, including Alumni Association board member and Associate Dean in the College of Medicine's Office of Diversity Education and Research Carla Boutin-Foster, MD' 94 has been awarded a $225,000 Health Equity Grant for their project “Designing a Health Equity Index to Improve the Patient Experience."

May 3rd: The SUNY Downstate Anesthesiology Department has announced its newest Chief Residents, including College of Medicine alumna Theresa Feng, MD' 18!
May 4th: Downstate has been ranked by Lown Institute as the #1 hospital in New York City and #2 in New York State avoiding overuse.
