The Alumni Association Appoints New President: Michael T. Goldstein, MD ’74

On May 5, 2018, Dr. Michael Goldstein became the President of the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine Alumni Association. He succeeds Dr. Suzanne S. Mirra.

Dr. Michael Goldstein is an ophthalmologist in New York, New York. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals which include Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel and has been practicing medicine for over twenty years. Additionally, Dr. Goldstein is one of 46 at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and one of 245 at Lenox Hill Hospital who specialize in Ophthalmology.

The Alumni Association would like to thank Dr. Mirra for her outstanding work as President and we are excited to work with Dr. Goldstein in hopes of strengthening the organization’s mission.
